We wanted to find a way of telling two stories in parallel – but to keep one hidden until we revisited it in the second half of the film. It was a way of showing audiences just why it was important that SC were working to spot the hidden talent. It was exciting to use the form of the film to communicate the message, which I don’t think I’d tried doing before. Shot by Stuart Luck and edited by Pete Booth, this was a really fun job to get our heads around.
