Shot over the course of a couple of weeks in Cape Town, London and Toulouse, this project was a real logistical challenge that took a lot of head-scratching to make work. We managed to film in a huge amount of locations within a very small period of time, thanks in no small part to the tireless production team at Cheerful 21st, and our man on the front line in South Africa, Platon Trakoshis. I haven’t worked with a harder-working, more knowledgeable fixer. The ever-changing climate gave a us a few lucky breaks, and I hope we made the most of them in the finished piece.
