A childhood dream was fulfilled as I got to cast a ‘Luke’, ‘Han’, ‘Leia’, ‘Chewie’ and ‘C-3PO’ for this spot. Using John Williams’ iconic score was pretty great, too. We only had about a quarter of the amount of extras as are seen in the final piece, but with some canny seating placement, costume changes, splitscreen tricks and clever sound design, we managed to give the impression of a busy canteen at lunchtime.
