After working together on the Cheestrings Star Wars commercial, Kerry Foods requested me back for their latest tie-in, this time for Captain America: Civil War. Shot on a Saturday in a school near Wembley, the ad then premiered simultaneously during both Game of Thrones and Britain’s Got Talent, so that basically covers anyone watching TV, right? Doffed caps to VFX legend Chris Cousins, DoP Andrew Fleming, art director Kelly-Ann Wills and composer Vincent Webb (who had a particularly tricky task out-Marveling Henry Jackman’s ‘Winter Soldier’ score, which we used as a temp during the edit).
